Inspirational Benefit for The S.H.E. Fund
Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Trium Group, 909 Montgomery Street, 6th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94133
Join us for an evening that will open your mind and your heart – an inspirational benefit for The Safe House Education (S.H.E.) Fund! Let's join together to provide college education for Maasai girls in Kenya who have the courage to run away from FGM and early childhood marriage and are committed to changing their lives, their families, their tribal communities and the world.
The evening will include:
An exclusive gathering over wine and hors d'oeuvres with S.H.E. Fund founder, board members and donors.
An Immersive multi media presentation of Maasai culture, the Great Rift Valley and its remarkable wildlife
The story of the S.H.E. Fund’s remarkable and surprising evolution
Stories from donors about their relationships with the student they sponsor
Auction of a Maasai photograph by renowned human rights photographer Lisa Kristine
These young women need our help. More than 20 million girls are subjected to FGM worldwide and 700 million unwillingly married off every year. You can make a difference.
Our hope is to raise $20,000 to support the courageous young women of the S.H.E. Fund to become changemakers in their culture! We also hope to welcome several new sponsors for the seven students graduating high school in 2019.
